We may have sold the house, for real this time.

We are under contract again. It looks like it may stick this time. Inspection and appraisal have been done. Buyers are working with contractors on the changes they will be making to my already perfect house.
Side note: the idea of changing my house really bothered me in the beginning. We spent so much time after Hurricane Ike designing and rebuilding our home. It was perfect for us and really fit who we are. It was small and colorful and has a great flow. The idea of painting over my beautifully stained hardwood cabinets, losing that
wood grain, horrified me. I fought to get those beautiful solid maple cabinets that were built in my garage. Then I began to remember that we will always have the memories of raising our kids here, but our goal is to create new, crazy memories. We want to show our kids that even during a crazy time like 2020, we can achieve goals and live life to the fullest. Life can throw you alot, it's what you do with it that matters.
So we have 30 days to pack up and get ready to move to the boat in Florida. We also have to get some things on the boat ready. It will be the end of October when we arrive and cruising season begins November 1. Lots of work to do both here and on the boat. But I am so incredibly exited. I can't believe we are going to be able to do this. I'm excited and terrified all at the same time. Selling everything, giving up our jobs, buying a boat and potentially taking our children (and dog) around the world. Definitely the craziest thing we've ever done. It will also be the most amazing and rewarding thing we've ever done.
